Our Story
We have now been in business for over 50 years. Heath & Wiltshire Ltd, now trading as HW Facilities, has seen many changes over the years. We stay true to our beginnings and continue to grow our family business with a strong belief in who we are and what we do.
It started in the 70’s. My dad, Tom M Marriott had a growing business in the motor trade, auctioneering around the country and acquiring a range of garages and dealerships. In 1974 he bought out a business and car showroom called Heath & Wiltshire Ltd. Dad liked the name and from here he continued to build it. Some years later he had the idea to set up a cleaning business, he felt it offered a market that is an essential service to all areas of commerce, and so, in 1999 the cleaning side of the company was established.
Ten years on, having finished my degree, I began work as an account manager on the cleaning side of the business, overseeing the South Coast then moving to London. Since then, we have worked to build and grow the company. Dad and I have a special working relationship and continue to support each other as we continue to grow. I believe our strong work ethic and deep respect are part of our success and we are proud of the family values HW retains to this day. More recently our two wives; Carolyn and Jan have also become part of the family business and now have key roles within the organisation.
As the years have gone on, we have steadily grown a fantastic office and management team around us, some of them working for HW longer than I have! We are very lucky to have such dedicated team of professionals and we acknowledge that the company could not run without them. Again, a strong work ethic and deep respect link all members of the HW family.

Tom M Marriott
I have been in business for over 50 years and have a vast amount of experience, operating in a range of business sectors. Studying Business Management as well as working alongside inspirational mentors has shaped the way I manage and run businesses.
Working with my son Tom has been, and continues to be, one of my best achievements and I take pleasure in growing our business further, together.
Outside of work I like to travel and regularly visit Australia, where we enjoy walking and seeing new sights.
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Tom J Marriott
I have worked at HW since 2009, initially joining after managing a family hotel for two years and before that completing an Honors Degree in Business and English Language.
During my time with HW I have successfully managed the acquisition and take-over of a London based business, as well as overseeing the growth and development of the company over the past 17 years.
I now own and run the business alongside my father, and we feel very positive about the future.
Out of work I am a qualified Advanced Padi diver and enjoy weightlifting.

Jan Marriott
My role has since expanded to managing Health & Safety and Quality and I have developed and put in place various systems and procedures. I enjoy being part of such a close-knit team and being an integral part of our growing success.
My passion outside of work is drawing and painting which I do for pleasure whenever I can.
HEAD OF PEOPLE
Carolyn Marriott
My role focuses on both the business and its people, and a key part is developing People Plans that support the business strategy. It’s important to me that people remain at the core of everything we do, and we stay true to our family values. I’m pleased to say that we have increased the number of employees paid the Real Living Wage to 70%.
I strongly believe that by looking after your team, they will look after your clients.
Outside of work I enjoy family time, with Tom, my son Tommy and dog Lupo and when I’m not with them you’ll either find me baking at home or training in the gym.

Emma Hicks
I’m a long-standing member of the HW team and have progressed from an Invoice Clerk over 20 years ago, to Office and Operations Manager today. I am proud of our office team, and I have worked hard to lead and develop a positive office culture.

I’m very family orientated, so spending time with my loved ones is what brings me the most joy and balance. I also enjoy staying active; fitness helps me to clear my mind, boost my energy and feel my best both personally and profesionally.

Zoe Elliott
I joined HW in 2021 and oversee the partnerships with our largest clients, supported by our extensive team of operational managers. Having worked in the facilities industry for over 30 years, I have amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience over this time.
I communicate successfully at all levels, building trust and understanding how to meet the differing needs of each stakeholder.
I love spending time with my family and 3 cockapoos. Always keen for an adrenaline rush; I have done a bungee jump, a skydive and have plans for zip wiring in Wales this year.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
David Whitehouse
I am proud to head up HW’s thriving Sales department and have over 25 years’ experience in Business Development. I have been instrumental in building the HW client portfolio.
With impressive contract wins, showcasing some of the UK’s best-known brands, I continue to push the boundaries and achieve positive results for our growing company.
When I’m not working, I have a keen interest in professional sport. Watching more than playing these days, you will find me cheering on my home football team, Southampton, every weekend.
PEOPLE MANAGER
Ellen Moore
Prior to joining the HW team in December ’23, my career has seen many, varied accomplishments. These include managing a company change programme, developing a young person’s advisory service, setting up an HR Dept for a merged organisation and working as a Government Inspector.
My role now, is to provide a trusted and reliable HR service to both managers and staff at HW.
Outside of work I compete at championship level Agility with my dogs.

Zaq Goulart
I am driven by a passion for customer satisfaction and upholding our company values. I strongly believe in providing excellent service to our clients, ensuring that we always meet the high standards set by the company.
Outside of work I enjoy exploring new destinations through travel, experimenting with different cuisines and diving into captivating books.

Janice (Jan) Hone
I have worked in the cleaning industry for over 30 years and joined the HW team in 2021. In this time, I have progressed from Area Manager to a Regional Operations Manager for one of our largest Key Accounts, where I oversee the operational side of this national contract.
I use my own life’s journey to support and help others, both inside and outside of work.

Christine Pike
I joined HW over 20 years ago in 2005. Over the years, I’ve transitioned through various roles, starting from Sales Ledger, and currently serving as the Finance Manager. In my current capacity, I manage the Payroll and Accounts departments.
My time at HW has provided me with extensive experience, and I have found great fulfilment in my roles.
Beyond my professional accomplishments, my proudest achievement is raising two children while simultaneously co-running a pub with my husband for 19 years – a challenging but rewarding endeavour.

Martin Gibbs
I joined HW in April 2025 to lead the operations of the Valeting division.
With over 20 years of experience in the automotive valeting industry — including positions as Area Manager and Regional Manager — I’ve built a strong reputation for reliability, effective leadership and consistent performance. I’m known for my hands‑on approach, attention to detail and commitment to supporting and developing my teams.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about keeping fit. I enjoy the gym, both off‑road and road biking, and taking on various challenges throughout the year. I also love spending time outdoors on long walks with my two working cocker dogs.

Ingrida Dembinskiene
With more than ten years of experience in the cleaning industry, I joined the HW team in 2024 supporting our Key Accounts and strengthen the service we deliver to our clients.
My background spans operational roles at every level, giving me firsthand insight into both the challnege and successes within the industry. I thrive on building positive, long-term relationships with clients and colleagues alike and take pride in delivering exceptional service and support. Every task, no matter the size, deserves to be handled with care, commitment and attention to detail.
Outside of work I really enjoy boxing – it helps me to switch off, clear my head and recharge all at once.
