At HW Facilities we’re mindful of our environmental impact and we are committed to doing the right thing, for our people, our clients and the environment. That’s why we partnered with the Neutral Carbon Zone (NCZ); independent carbon assessment specialists, to better understand and manage our carbon footprint.

NCZ’s Gold Certification recognises organisations that have truly embedded sustainability into the way they operate and provides an assurance of a company’s commitment to carbon neutrality. To achieve this standard, we measured our emissions across scopes 1, 2 and 3, established a clear baseline, and set meaningful reduction targets, all verified to ISO standards.

With NCZ’s expert guidance, we’ve taken a structured and externally verified approach to carbon management, ensuring our data is accurate and transparent. Their support throughout the process has been invaluable.

We are now establishing a verified baseline from which we will track and report our progress over time.

While meaningful change doesn’t happen overnight, every step matters and will make a difference for the future. So, achieving NCZ Gold Accreditation is something we’re incredibly proud of. It demonstrates the commitment from the whole HW Facilities team and reinforces our determination to drive positive change within the cleaning industry.
